AD FILMS · PROOF
PhD Service Plans, the launch films.
The proof behind Ad Films: a 60-second cinematic launch film, a 30-second cutdown and a 9:16 vertical cut, made with our AI-first, code-built film pipeline for PhD Service Plans, PhD's own white-label service-plan platform for UK heating firms, still in development.
The story, in 60 seconds.
Sam, an engineer for the demo brand "Your Heating Co.", answers a call at seven in the morning, except the call was already handled overnight. The AI checks for gas safety first, books the job, turns a voice note into an invoice, and takes payment by bank, all under the firm's own name and colours.
Every scene is code.
The film started as a written beat sheet, every cut, line and on-screen event timed to the frame before anything was rendered. From there, the cinematic shots came from AI video generation, and everything else, the on-screen app UI, the text, the pricing, the brand colours, was built and rendered as code, frame by frame, because AI video still can't reliably render legible on-screen text or stay on-brand.
The voiceover and the score are AI-generated, composited under the code-rendered UI with an ffmpeg finishing pass: grade, sound design, music ducked under the voice, and two-pass loudness mastering to web and broadcast specs. Because the UI is code, not footage, the white-label re-skin frame you can see in the stills below is the same film with different brand colours dropped in, a re-render, not a reshoot. Parallel AI agents built the scenes, sound and music against one shared brief.
One film, every shape.
The same pipeline that produced the hero cut also produced a 30-second cutdown for shorter placements and a 9:16 vertical cut for Stories, Reels and Shorts, retimed to the same beat sheet rather than cropped after the fact.
Frames, not renders.
Web masters · 16:9 and 9:16 · plus broadcast masters (ProRes 422 HQ) for the 16:9 cuts
PhD's own product.
PhD Service Plans is PhD's own AI-first, white-label service-plan platform for UK heating firms, and it is still in development, not a live product and not a service we currently sell. These films are real proof of the Ad Films pipeline, not a client engagement, and every screen and message shown is illustrative of where the platform is heading, not a live feature.
"In development. Launching 2027. Screens and messages are illustrative."
